Vaulted ID — Arrow's Identity &
Secrets Enablement Initiative

A 90-day program combining IBM Verify and IBM Vault to build unified identity and secrets lifecycle management competency and generate qualified pipeline.

IBM Verify IBM Vault 90-Day Program Frank Welder · Arrow ECS

Primary Use Cases

Use Case 1
Non-Human Identity Governance + Dynamic Secrets
Verify governs service and workload identities. Vault issues short-lived, policy-aligned credentials — eliminating long-lived secrets sprawl.
Use Case 2
Secure Automation & DevOps Pipelines
Pipelines authenticated and governed through Verify. Vault injects dynamic secrets at runtime, eliminating embedded credentials from code and configs.
Use Case 3
Zero-Trust Access Enforcement
Verify provides identity trust, risk context, and governance. Vault ensures credential issuance matches least-privilege policy at every access request.
Use Case 4
Kubernetes & Cloud-Native Workloads
Verify manages workload identities across hybrid environments. Vault provides per-pod, per-service dynamic credentials — no static secrets in containers.
Use Case 5
AI and Autonomous Service Access Control
Verify governs AI agents and automated services. Vault rotates and delivers short-lived credentials required for their actions — securing the agentic layer.

Why Vault + Verify?

Modern enterprises are struggling with fragmented identity systems, unmanaged secrets, and growing risk from non-human identities, automation pipelines, Kubernetes workloads, and AI-driven services.

IBM Verify
Governs who or what should have access, based on identity, policy, and lifecycle control. Handles both human and non-human identities across hybrid environments.
IBM Vault
Manages the secrets and credentials required for that access — using dynamic, short-lived, and centrally audited secrets. Eliminates credential sprawl at the source.

Together they provide unified identity + secrets lifecycle management, enabling true zero-trust access, consistent governance, and reduced operational risk.
