Primary Use Cases

Partners build a joint demo based on any combination of these tracks:

Track 1 — GCM
Enterprise Crypto Inventory & Risk Visualization
Discover cryptographic assets using built-in network scanning. Aggregate external scanner data (Nessus, Qualys, Vault PKI, Kubernetes). Visualize risk dashboards, apply NIST-aligned policies, and prioritize remediation.
Track 2 — QSE
Application Source Code Crypto Analysis
Scan custom applications for vulnerable cryptographic implementations. Identify precise code locations requiring fix and guide refactoring to quantum-safe algorithms.
Track 3 — QSR
Quantum-Safe Transformation Proxy
Apply quantum-safe protection to apps without code changes. Simulate and test quantum-safe algorithms and mitigate Harvest Now, Decrypt Later (HNDL) risk.
Track 4 — Multi-Track
Unified Crypto Inventory & Multi-Source Scanning
Combine QSE code insights + QSR endpoint protection + GCM asset inventory for a full risk dashboard spanning applications, certificates, protocols, keys, APIs, endpoints, and source code.
Track 5 — Optional
Industry-Specific Demonstrations
Validated IBM examples: Telefónica Tech (quantum-safe secure communications using GCM, QSE, QSR) and Vodafone (future-proofing smartphone security). Partners adapt these into vertical GTM motions.

Why Quantum-Safe Security?

The industry faces imminent risk from future quantum computers able to break today's cryptography, "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" (HNDL) attacks already occurring, and massive cryptographic debt embedded across applications, APIs, containers, databases, and infrastructure.

Guardium Cryptography Manager (GCM)
Provides visibility into cryptographic usage across enterprise networks and applications. Aggregates assets from scanners, Vault PKI, K8s, Qualys/Nessus. Applies enterprise and regulatory crypto policies, detects vulnerabilities, prioritizes remediation.
Quantum Safe Explorer (QSE)
Scans source code to identify vulnerable encryption, weak algorithms, and risky usage at the line-of-code level. Guides remediation by pointing to the exact location where cryptography must be refactored.
Quantum Safe Remediator (QSR)
Protects applications without modifying the code, using proxy-based quantum-safe cryptography. Evaluates quantum-safe algorithm performance and mitigates HNDL scenarios.

Enablement & Demo Build
  • Complete foundational training for GCM, QSE, and/or QSR
  • Build a custom Quantum-Safe demo using selected track(s)
  • Configure crypto asset inventory dashboards (GCM)
  • Configure source code scanning pipelines (QSE)
  • Configure proxy-based quantum-safe gateway flows (QSR)
Phase 2 · Days 30–90
Market Engagement
  • Conduct 10 customer conversations using the built demo
  • Generate a minimum of 5 IBM Quantum-Safe opportunities
  • Capture customer use cases for Arrow + IBM co-selling
